About:

My name is Devin Dickel. I am a big picture person who has been drawn in to God's supremely big story about His Glory being made known EVERYWHERE on earth.  At our moment in history, I believe His primary means of expanding His glory on earth will be through local churches that effectively engage all of their members in the work of missions, especially those with business and professional skills.  It therefore brings me great joy to be able to serve churches through OPEN by inspiring them to think about new and effective means for doing missions (ie: Business for Transformation), by connecting them with resources and people that can help (ie: business coaches, mentors, investors, etc.), and by encouraging them to take their God-ordained role to lead us into the future victories of the gospel that are sure to come all over the world!

I am happy to be married to my beautiful wife, Brianna, and to raise three young children together with her.  We moved to MN from Iowa in 2015 and love being a part of Cedar Valley Church in Bloomington.  We are learning to root for the Vikings too!  SKOLLLLL!!!!  I also have 5 years’ experience working as a Sr. Systems Engineer doing subcontracting work on US Army and Coast Guard helicopters prior to my current role with OPEN.

Professional Experience:

Experienced Relationship Manager, Devin provides excellent service in ongoing customer relations support, negotiates service terms with contractors, and generates new client leads through personal networks. He is currently with OPEN USA as a relations manager for the last 3 years.

COVID-19 Guidelines:

  • YOU MUST REGISTER TO ATTEND: due to limitations on attendees, registration is required – if we reach capacity, we plan to live-stream the event via Zoom and Facebook
  • Join us on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 11:30am to 1:00pm
  • When not restricted by COVID-19 guidelines: Participants may choose their desired meal for purchase from a menu of delicious foods made specifically for our gathering
  • Digital temperature check may be taken at the door
  • Hand sanitizer and disposable masks will be available at the door
  • Masks are mandatory
  • Social distancing should be practiced by all participants: we know that handshakes and hugs are natural greetings, but let's follow protocol as recommended by CDC, Federal, State and Local Governments
  • We will take proper sanitizing precautions before, during and after the event to best ensure your safety
