Ambassadors for Business is blessed to bring another city-wide event to Christians in the marketplace throughout the Twin Cities Metro Area. This event is a deeper dive into a topic facing most believers in the workplace, whether a business owner, employee, or even a student about to enter the workforce.
Overcoming the Sacred-Secular Divide.
Reflecting on what you did yesterday, what percentage was secular and what percentage was spiritual?
The answer to this question gives us great insight into what could be called the besetting sin of the 21st century church. In simplest terms, we’ve become double-minded. We see a false divide between what would be called spiritual and secular activities in our lives. This divide is responsible for the popular misconception that our relationship with God can be reduced to church-related events or, at best, believing God is present but uninterested in one’s work-life.
Join us as we dig into this Christian theology in hopes that it leads to a personal transformation of how you think about your day, your work or business, and your career. Our format will include a keynote presentation from Bill Tibbetts and group discussions. A light breakfast is included in your ticket.
